Philadelphia Fashion Incubator
Elissa has been the Executive Director of The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s Center City since its inception in 2011. With her vision and passion, she has created an impactful and dynamic one year ‘MBA’ style residency that teaches the business of fashion to emerging fashion designers. Italy

In conjunction with International Women’s Day, Elissa was invited by the US State Department to give various lectures to the women’s business community and fashion sector of Rome.
She presented university lectures at LUISS and LUISS Labs and met with local fashion entrepreneurs.
In Palermo she consulted and led working sessions with two organizations that support female migrants Sartoria Sociale and Filo Da Torcere. In Milan she lectured at Bocconi.

Russia

Elissa was invited by the US State Department to be a keynote, business coach and judge at Fashion Tech Day in Moscow. She lectured at universities, accelerators and gave design critiques in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Baltics

Elissa was invited by the US Embassies in the Baltic nations to present fashion business boot camps in their countries: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The trip included 3 business boot camps, university lectures, design critiques, meetings with trade councils, and one on one consultations with designers.

Kenya

Elissa was invited by the White House to speak on two panels at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
